Jemma (Velvet Belle)
Jemma was our 23 year old thoroughbred mare, that Nadia had owned for over 15 years. We had to say goodbye to her on 16 December 2010.
Over the years Jemma has competed at dressage and showing, winning a number of trophies and events. Jemma was one of the nicest creatures on the planet, she taught me to ride and was a little softy.
I will miss her happy little face and cheerful manner, I am having a hard time writing this as it hurts like hell without her.
Her last years of work was the best I could have had with her, we had a weeks holiday on the beach and did the Waddesdon sponsored ride and managed to squeeze in a Parelli play day.
